Thousands watch as the parade comes down Terrace Avenue.

St. Pats Parade in the Garden District!

The Garden District does not sponsor the St. Patty's Day parade in Baton Rouge, but we certainly do promote and enjoy it. We annually agree to allow passage down our own Terrace Avenue and thousands come out every year to enjoy the fun. Come early to get a good spot!

For more information about the St. Patty's Day parade see here.

Traditional Parade route: Begins at the corner of Hundred Oaks and South Acadian Thruway (by Catholic Life Center); takes right on Eugene; takes left on Terrace; takes final left on Perkins Road and continues down over the overpass ending just under the interstate. All floats continue to roll through the intersection at Lee Drive though the parade has ended.
